Should an emergency situation arise, employers must have an emergency action plan that outlines how employees are expected to react. All employees must be trained in these written plans, which list emergency contacts and procedures, such as reporting fire or other emergencies, evacuations, and rescue/medical operations. This course is designed to help students prepare for and appropriately respond to emergency situations in the workplace.
